Summer Short Term Work

Summer Short Term Work

Ready for a summer reset? Polaris Family Behavioral Health is excited to offer Short-Term Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy-an intensive, focused treatment option designed to help youth and families make meaningful progress in a short period of time.
This program is ideal for:

  • Youth with specific phobias
  • Teens preparing for life transitions (e.g., middle to high school, or high school to college)
  • Families looking for quick, effective therapeutic progress when school isn’t in the way

What is the Polaris Short-Term Exposure Therapy Program?

Our Accelerated Treatment Program includes:

  • A 90-minute diagnostic evaluation
  • 8–12 sessions (55 minutes each) scheduled over a condensed timeframe—sometimes in as little as two weeks!
  • Sessions delivered either in-person or telehealth
  • Three 20-minute follow-up calls after treatment to support relapse prevention and maintain progress

What This Program Is Not

This is not an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Instead, it’s a short-term, focused treatment plan for families who do not require daily or ongoing support, but who prefer to utilize targeted, expert help for a specific issue.

Why Choose Polaris Short-Term Exposure Therapy?

Expert Guidance: Work with our skilled clinicians who specialize in exposure therapy. Whether it’s tackling OCD, a specific phobia, parenting challenges, or anxiety, our team helps clients gain tools and confidence quickly.

Structured & Strategic: Our short-term format is designed for maximum impact in a minimal amount of time, with clear goals and tailored interventions.

Personalized Care: Every plan is crafted around your child’s (and your family’s) unique needs, goals, and upcoming transitions—making it a perfect fit during summer downtime.

Who Can Benefit?

  • Youth with specific phobias or mild to moderate OCD or anxiety symptoms
  • Teens preparing for life transitions like starting high school or college
  • Individuals looking to make rapid progress toward a specific mental health goal
  • Those new to therapy or looking to supplement existing treatment with targeted exposure work
