Rindee G.P. Ashcraft, Ph.D. – Dr. Ashcraft has work with OCD and anxiety for the last 10 years, and with adolescents and teens for 20 years. She is is an expert in navigating the intricacies of ERP, and tailors her therapy to each individual. She also has expertise in treating OCD Spectrum disorders such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Trichotillomania. She founded Polaris Family Behavioral Health in an effort to create a place where people are able to find effective, compassionate treatment for anxiety and OCD. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults with various types of anxiety, especially those who have trouble with obsessions and compulsions (OCD), those with general anxiety and high levels of stress, those who have experienced trauma (PTSD), and those with specific fears (phobias). Her approach to therapy is to focus on the individual, and ideally use some form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Megan Wanless, LMFT – Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her master’s degree in Child, Couple, and Family Therapy at Antioch University. She specializes in working with kids and teens with depression, anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Megan’s approach to therapy is very client-centered, working with the family to help create a healthier environment for everyone. She relies on evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Megan loves to create a comfortable and playful setting to help individuals move towards health.
Naya Beall, MA, LMHCA – Naya is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. She completed her clinical training at Seattle Children’s Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for OCD where she provided therapy to youth and families with severe OCD and comorbid related anxiety disorders. Naya’s approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She specializes in pediatric OCD and anxiety-related disorders. Naya enjoys working with children, adolescents, parents, and young adults. She is also fluent in Portuguese.
Genesis Alatorre, MA, LMHCA- Genesis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her master’s degree in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. She specializes in treating youth with depression, optional deficit disorder, OCD, anxiety, eating disorders with the comorbidity of Body Dysmorphic Disorder and other Body Focused Repetitive Behavior Disorders. Genesis’s approach to therapy is focused on evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Genesis is passionate about helping youth and families move forward with treatment.
Elizabeth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist. She earned a dual Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. Over the last 6 years, she has been working with adults of all ages in a variety of settings. Her approach to therapy is strengths-focused and collaborative while staying grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques.
Sarah Waters, LSWAIC— Sarah is a Licensed Social Worker Associate-Independent Clinical who earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boston College with a clinical focus on Children, Youth & Families. She has experience working at Boston’s largest public elementary school and a biofeedback program developed at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Sarah utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Bibliotherapy. She specializes in treating kids with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges and encourages family collaboration. Sarah is passionate about helping kids and families live their healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.
Amanda Holeman, LMHCA — Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her master’s degree in School Counseling and Higher Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She has expertise working with children five to eleven years old and has four years of school counseling experience. Amanda values creating a space where her clients feel safe to be themselves. She uses a person centered approach which focuses on the importance of building the client-therapist relationship to support clients in reaching their treatment goals. Amanda utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She specializes in treating youth with OCD and anxiety-related disorders. Amanda also utilizes the modality of Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) in order to help children and teens manage their emotions and behaviors as well as gain insight into more helpful solutions through play.
Jesica Mendoza — Jesica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master of Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. She has experience in schools and community health. Jesica has experience working with infants to adolescents in various settings including when she completed her clinical training in a community health setting where she treated youth with anxiety-related disorders, depression, trauma, and ADHD. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification, and Exposure and Response Prevention. She strives to be culturally sensitive and works to create an environment that is warm, playful, and humorous. Jesica enjoys empowering families and youth by focusing on self-advocacy and motivation for change. Jesica is bi-cultural in Mexican and U.S culture and can speak Spanish.
Claire Olson, LMHC-A — Claire is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. She completed her clinical training at Seattle Children’s Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for OCD where she provided therapy to youth and families with severe OCD and comorbid anxiety disorders. Claire is a LGBTQ+ identified therapist whose holistic approach to therapy is rooted in affirming the experiences of those who are marginalized, creating a safe space where clients can feel comfortable to address anything that may be impacting their mental well-being in addition to OCD symptoms. She practices evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Claire specializes in pediatric OCD and anxiety-related disorders and enjoys working with teens and families to help all individuals that mental health impacts to heal and live healthy lives.
