Telehealth

We offer all of our services via Telehealth, which is a way for you and your child to participate in therapy via secure video from the comfort of your own home.

Services we are offering via Telehealth include :

  • Starting therapy with new families
  • Ongoing Therapy- Including individual therapy, group therapy, ERP, and for all conditions and situations
  • Consultation with your other behavioral and medical health providers as needed

The idea of starting services online or switching to a video format can feel daunting or unusual . Rest assured that we have experience successfully using this format for all types of treatment we provide. For many of the evidence-based treatments that we offer there is also evidence that they can be just as effective when delivered remotely. We will help guide you in getting everything set up to make this type of service delivery possible for you and your family.

What do I need to successfully start telehealth sessions?

Equipment: You will need an electronic device, such as a computer, tablet, or smart phone, that has video and audio capabilities. Some sort of headphones or earbuds are a nice addition, but not necessary. They allow you and your child t. o keep the sessions as private as possible.

Software: We are using Zoom and Google Meet as our HIPAA compliant platforms. Prior to your session, you will receive a link to you session. If you have not used these platforms, you will be prompted to install these applications, which only takes a minute or two.

Location: It is important to find a place that is as private and free from distraction as possible. It is important that only the people in the session are in the area when you are in session. If more than one person will be involved in the session, please make sure the device is set up so that everyone can be seen. Finally, please make sure that you are near an outlet or have a fully charged device.
